I read a article about foster care and adoption and it was about what is a good home to bring a child into if you are looking to adopt a child. The article was also about what the age ranges are in foster homes they range from all ages- teenagers, toddlers, infants, children with special behavioral problems and mental needs. 49% of kids are over the age of nine years old that are put into foster families and are put up for adoption.

It's really sad when you see all the younger kids being chosen over the older children. But, it is still good that someone is adopting these children in need of a caring family and warm home.
